This roof rack system mounts to the flush side rails of your Toyota Highlander. It's going to use the fixed mounting points on the side rails and that's going to allow you to get your favorite rooftop accessories loaded up whether you've got a cargo box, a bike rack, or even a kayak carrier. Up top, we have our 53-inch Wingbar Evo crossbars, and these have a nice aerodynamic shape to them. Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars Installation - 2015 Toyota RAV4- Video

Today on our 2015 Toyota RAV4, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack System. Now, this is a great product for your RAV4. It's going to allow you to get any of your favorite accessories on your roof, whether you got a bike rack, a kayak carrier or even a cargo basket. It's going to allow you to get those appropriate gear up on your roof, so you don't have to try to store them in your vehicle.Now, this roof rack is made up of a couple of different parts. First, we have our 53 inch Evo WingBars. These are going to have a nice aerodynamic shape to them, so that's going to help cut down wind noise and drag when you compare them to your standard square or round bars.Now, what's really cool that Thule did, when compared to load bars, is when you flip open that cap and look at the channel, the old load bars, you had to pull out the rubber strip and then cut it to length for whatever T-track accessory you wanted to use. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Toyota Highlander- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof-rack system, consisting of part numbers TH7603-TH7603, those are the Thule Aeroblade Edge bars that you see here, and part number THKIT3134. This is the fit kit that'll attach to our fixed mounting points.The Thule Aeroblade Edge roof-rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories while freeing up space inside your Toyota Highlander. This can carry anything from bike racks, to cargo baskets, to cargo boxes, and it also has a nice factory-style look, once it's installed. It's more of an aesthetic choice, though, as you lose a little bit of space for mounting those accessories by having these flush mounts here.Removing the cover, this does work with T-track accessories, by removing the strip, cutting it to length, and then installing your T-track accessories. And it also has an aerodynamic shape to it, which is going to cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive.I'd like to give you a quick measurement here, from the center of the roof to the bottom of the bar, as well as the top, just to give you an idea of the height this adds to your vehicle. From the center of the roof to the bottom of the bar, is going to be about 3-1/4 inches, and from the center to the top is going to be about 4-1/2 inches. more

Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Toyota Highlander- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System, with part number RRRVP37. This Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System is going to allow you to carry roof-mounted accessories on your Highlander, things like bike racks, cargo boxes, kayak carriers, and much more.They have an aerodynamic design, which is going to reduce the need for a fairing, and they're much quieter than round or square bars. They're going to work with your traditional clamp on accessories as well as your T-Slot accessories. You'll simply remove the cover and trim the rubber strip around your accessories.Some roof rack systems, the crossbar extends out past the roof, allowing you to maximize your accessory capacity. This roof rack system is fixed and flush mounted, so though it won't allow you to carry as many accessories, it's going to maintain that factory look. It has a weight capacity of 176 lbs, though you'll want to be sure and check with your Highlander's owner's manual, to see if your roof can support that much weight.Now this roof rack system does sit lower than most, so we'll give you some clearance measurements. more

SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2018 Toyota Corolla- Video

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Toyota Corolla, we're gonna be test fitting the SeaSucker Monkey Bar roof rack system, and this is going to be part number 298-SX6000. These bars are 48 inches long. Attach to your roof without any other clamps or anything like that, that would go underneath your doorjamb here. Instead, it uses these suction mounts on both sides. These suction mounts do have 210 pounds of pull, so they are going to stay in place once they're installed.This is a great roof rack system to carry a wide variety of accessories to free up space inside your Corolla, like bike racks, cargo baskets, or cargo boxes. This is adjustable with these eyelets here on both sides back and forth to accommodate different crossbar spread. more

SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2009 Toyota Prius- Video

This is going to be part number 298-SX6000.These bars are going to be 48" long, and they attach to the vehicle utilizing these suction mounts on both sides. It's very easy to use and install, and it's great for naked roofs where you don't necessarily want to go for the full roof rack, where you'd have to play with the clamps or what have you to attach it to your roof, and it'd be a little bit of a hassle. This one is easy to install and it can be utilized with bike racks, cargo baskets, or cargo boxes, and it's just as durable.Let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on. We already have it partially assembled on our table here, and these are some of the other parts you're going to be getting with this roof rack kit. It does come with a spare suction cup mount, should one fail or be damaged, and it also has this other mount that's going to be sliding onto the other side of the bar. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Toyota RAV4- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Toyota Rav 4, we're going to be test fitting the Inno Aero Roof Rack System consisting of part numbers INXB100 and 108. These are going to be the Aero crossbars, 39 inches long and 42 inches long, and part number INXS100. These are the Inno flush feet for the Aero crossbars.We have the front bar already installed on the vehicle, and this Inno Aero roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, such as bike racks, cargo baskets or cargo boxes.It has this nice flush look to it, so it has a nice factory feel to it once it's installed. Also, it does have end caps that are already locked. So, this is gonna be secure to your factory side rails once it's installed.Removing the end cap, you can see that we can utilize t-trek accessories with this roof rack system as well. Unlike most systems where you have to take out the strip, cut it to length and put it back in, with this you can simply push it down and slide your t-trek accessory into place.The bars do have a general aero-dynamic shape to them, and that coupled with that rubber strip in the center, is gonna help cut down wind noise and drag while you drive. more

Thule Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Toyota 4Runner- Video

The Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories while maintaining a factory style look with your crossbars. The bars themselves do have an aerodynamic shape to them, and that coupled with the rubber strip up at the top, that's going to cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive. Also, if we remove our end caps, you can see that you can use T-track accessories with this roof rack system by simply removing the strip, cutting it to length, putting your accessory into place, and then replacing the strip.There is a downside to this, however, because these are so flush mounted, like you see here, you do lose a little bit of space that you would with the bars that go past the actual roof rack system itself. At each of our end caps, they do have a portion where you can knock it out and place in a Thule lock core system, which is sold separately, and you can find it on etrailer.com. more

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota 4Runner we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00408, these are the round 48 crossbars, part number Y03536, this is the RoundBar SL adapter kit and part number Y00147 and these are the Timberline towers for the Yakima crossbars, particularly for factory raised side rails. The Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. The RoundBars are strong and durable, however, you may experience some sound and noise while you're driving around with these. Yakima does have fairings that they offer to cut down the wind noise and drag, which you can find on etrailer.com or you can upgrade these bars to either the CoreBars or the JetStream bars as well.Our end caps are lockable by knocking out these plastic portions here. Not only can you secure it to your factory raised side rails but you can also make it keyed alike with your accessories. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2017 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota 4Runner, we're going to be testing fitting the Inno Aero Crossbar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers INXB108-2. These are the Inno Aero Crossbars 42" long. We'll also be using part number INXS100, and these are the Inno Flush Feet for the Aero Crossbars, particularly for factory raised side rails.The Inno Aero Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof or freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. Once the bars are installed, they have a nice factory look to them, as you can see here. They do also have an aerodynamic shape to them, and that coupled with the rubber strip up at the top is going to cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2018 Toyota Corolla- Video

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Toyota Corolla, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Rhino rack 2500 series Vortex aero roof rack system, using part numbers RRVA118B-2 for the 46" long, black, aluminum crossbars. They're also available in silver with part number RRVA118S-2, part number RRLKVA. That's for the 2500 series legs. Finally, part number DK383 for the custom fit kit for the Corolla. This roof rack system's gonna be great for carrying your bike racks, kayak carriers, roof boxes, really any accessory you want to put on your roof. It features aero style bars, which compared to square or round bars, it's gonna be a lot quiet and you don't need a fairing. more

Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Tacoma we're gonna be test fitting the Rhino-Rack Vortex aero roof rack system consisting of part numbers RRVA137B-2. These are the Vortex aero crossbars, 54 inches long and black, these also come in silver as part number RRVA137S-2. We'll also be using part number RRRLKVA and these will be 2500 series legs for the Vortex aero crossbars, particularly for naked roofs or fixed mounting points. We'll also be using part number DK174 and this is the custom fit kit for the Tacoma.The Rhino-Rack Vortex aero roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof for your Tacoma and also serve as an extension if you we're to have a ladder rack installed in the truck bed. This roof rack system is very easy to install, it simply clamps around your existing door frame and all the measurements are gonna be in the instructions that you need to install this. Now it's gonna be fixed in this position so any accessories you may have double check with the crossbar spread to make sure it's gonna work with that. more

One of the biggest advantages to this roof rack system is, is it comes with everything already installed, so you don't have to assemble anything to get this onto your roof rack system.However, you do have some strips that you can cut into place and that coincides with the general shaped of the bars, which are aerodynamic, and that with the rubber strip at the top and the strip you'll cut underneath, that will cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive. Another nice feature about this is the fact that it can take any T-track accessories. more

Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Toyota Sienna- Video

This also comes in black as part number TH7502B-TH7502B. The Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from cargo baskets, to cargo boxes, to kayak carriers, to ski and snowboard carriers as well.The bar has an aerodynamic shape to it, and that, couple with the rubber strip up at the top, is gonna cut down wind noise and drag. Now, because of it's style and how it attaches to the factory raised side rails, it does have a factory look to it once you install it. However, because you don't have that additional overhang with the crossbars, and because these go in so far with the foot packs, you are gonna lose some space when you install stuff on your roof.Removing the end caps, you can also see that these can be used with T-track accessories. more

Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Toyota RAV4 MPG215- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota RAV4, we're gonna be test-fitting the Malone airflow 2 roof rack system, part number MPG215. These easy to install crossbars are economical with all the premium features. These will install on your factory side rails with the minimum distance of 27 1/2 inches. The foot packs simply clamp onto your factory rails and come with an included lock mechanism to keep your system secure. The key to install it is also included on two of your foot pads. The back pad is adjustable and has a nice rubber foot to prevent any scratches on your factory rails, and they can easily be moved back and forth to suit your needs. more

This is going to consist of the Yakima Round Bars, part number: Y00408, the baseline towers, part number: Y00146, the adapters for our baseline towers, part number: Y03536, and our fit kit for our Prius, part number: Y06135 and Y06179.The Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or cargo baskets as long as they work with the round bars. The crossbars are made out of a solid steel construction, so they're strong and durable and they have a rubber coating, which will help to prevent rust and corrosion.The baseline towers are going to allow us to secure our crossbars to our roof rack, and these do have the option to place in the Yakima Same Key System Lock Core and that's going to prevent theft and tampering. When we remove the cover, you can see our fit kit on the inside. This is going to be custom-cut to our vehicle to give us a nice, secure fit. Any portion that actually touches our vehicle is going to have a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions.The baseline towers have a weight capacity of 220 pounds, though you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that much weight. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we're going to be test fitting the Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack for raised side rails, part number MPG215. The Malone AirFlow2 is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, while freeing up space inside your vehicle. You can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, kayak carriers, ski and snow board carriers, among other things.But flipping open our cover here, you can see it can accept t-track accessories. Now in some cases you may need to remove the rubber strip, insert your accessories, and then cut the strip to length, and put it around that to cut down the wind noise and drag. And it also comes with a rubber strip that goes underneath once it's installed, that you would also have to measure out and cut, and this again cuts down that wind noise and drag. That, as well as the aerodynamic shape of the bars.The Malone towers also have locks to them. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Toyota Tacoma- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima JetStream roof rack system using the baseline towers. We're using the 50-inch JetStream bars, part number Y00425, baseline tower kit, part number Y00146, and we need two base clip sets, part number Y06145 for the front, and Y06128 for the rear.Now a measurement that we often get requests for is the distance of the crossbar from the roof of the vehicle. This can help you out with garage situations and things like that to make sure you have enough room. Basically from the top of our Tacoma to the top of our crossbar, it's about 4 inches. That's from the lowest point of the roof, not on top of the corrugated part.Now, each of our covers does have a hole for a lock. You can pick up the Yakima same key system, slide it in there and turn it, and turn the basic cover into a locking cover.Something I really like about the Yakima roof rack system here with the baseline feet is that any point of contact we have with our vehicle is going to be rubber coated. more

Malone Roof Rack Review - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Today in our 2012 Toyota 4-Runner we're gonna be test fitting the Malone Steel Top Universal Roof Rack System for our factory raised side rails. This is gonna be part number MPG203. We have our rear bar set on our table here along with our locking end caps and our tightening tool. We already have our front bar installed. Let's go ahead and take a look at that real quick. We have it set towards the front and we measured back from this edge here on both sides the same distance to make sure it was in the same place on both sides. Then we measured from the point here out for our crossbar overhang to make sure it was even on those sides as well. more
